Marcin Wątkowski has been with Bioton since 1998, when he began working in the Technical Department as a Specialist. Over the course of more than fifteen years at Bioton, he has held various positions, including Specialist, Manager of the Investment Preparation and Implementation Department, Deputy Director of the Technical Department, and subsequently Director of the Technical Department.
Throughout his career at BIOTON S.A., in various roles, he participated in the development of BIOTON S.A.’s infrastructure in Macierzysz (Biotechnology and Sterile Dosage Forms), Duchnice (Sterile Powders), and Orla (RU) (Sterile Dosage Forms).
He worked at Polpharma S.A. and Polpharma Biologics S.A., where he was responsible for investments and maintenance. He successfully led the project to build and commission a biotechnology manufacturing facility (MAB) in Duchnice, which obtained FDA certification.
While working at HTL STREFA S.A., he managed projects in the medical device industry.
He currently serves as Technical Director responsible for Maintenance and CAPEX.
Marcin holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Warsaw University of Technology.
