1. What position do you hold at Bioton?
I work as the Senior Specialist in Computerized Systems and Serialization.
2. What are your responsibilities at Bioton?
I ensure that our computerized systems comply with GMP requirements for the pharmaceutical industry, keep up with evolving technology, and meet the company’s internal standards. In terms of serialization, I manage the Track & Trace system, supporting our serialization and aggregation processes. I work closely with National Medicines Verification Organizations (NMVOs) and contract manufacturers (CMOs) to ensure a secure distribution chain, in line with the European FMD directive. Additionally, I conduct quality audits of our suppliers as well as internal quality audits within the company.
3. What was your path to your current position?
My career at Bioton began in quality assurance and validation, but over time, my role evolved toward computerized systems. I also had the opportunity to implement exciting investment projects as a Project Manager, focusing on new production equipment, laboratory apparatus, and industrial systems. In recent years, I have delved into the serialization area, where, along with a fantastic team, we implemented product aggregation systems within the company.
4. What are you most proud of in your work?
I am especially motivated by working alongside experts in their respective fields, which brings me great job satisfaction. The diversity and dynamism of tasks, along with the chance to explore new areas, make working at Bioton incredibly interesting. Every accomplishment and success is a result of teamwork with experts employed by the company, which I believe is a huge added value.
5. What inspires you in your work?
I am inspired by the people I meet along my career path. Every interaction brings something new and helps me grow. Small, regular goals – “milestones” we reach in cycles, continually refining our skills – are also a big motivator.
6. How do you like to spend your time after work? Do you have any hobbies?
After work, I enjoy cycling, swimming at the local pool, and my latest discovery is Ashtanga Yoga – I highly recommend yoga workouts! Recently, I’ve also become passionate about board games, which are incredibly engaging.
7. Do you have any motto or principle that guides you in life?
I believe in staying open to new challenges. Although stepping out of the comfort zone can be challenging, exploring new things and gaining additional experiences is well worth it.
8. What advice would you give to people starting their career?
My advice for people at the beginning of their career is to be open to new challenges and not limit themselves to a narrow field of study. Expanding knowledge and skills in various areas always pays off.
