1 . What is your position at Bioton?
I am a Regional Manager in the Sales Team.
2. What do you do at Bioton?
I manage a team of eleven medical representatives in the North-West Region. This area covers the following provinces: Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Pomorskie, Zachodnio-Pomorskie, Wielkopolskie, Lubuskie and part of Dolnośląskie.
3. What was your career path like?
I started working in 2002 as a Medical Representative. It was a time when insulin produced by BIOTON started to be marketed and our company became famous with among diabetologists. After 5 years of working as a Medical Representative, I was promoted to Regional Manager. In those 15 years, new products were added to my portfolio, my team and my working area changed.
4. What are you most proud of job-wise?
I am proud of BIOTON’s position that we have reached together over all these years in the medical and patient community. I am proud of my team who consistently work hard to bring our products to a wider audience.
5. What inspires you at work?
I am inspired by working with the people in my team and with doctors in the field. And also the lack of routine – every working day looks different, with new challenges and situations. This job requires me to be open to change and constantly develop.
6. What advice would you give to people who are just starting on their career path?
The work of a Medical Representative or Manager requires a lot of independence. It is suitable for those who are not afraid of change, who can manage their time and set priorities. It gives great satisfaction if you like working with people and are result-oriented.
