1. On what position do you work at Bioton?
For the past 5 months I have been working as a Junior IT Administrator, taking care of the IT systems at Bioton.
2. What do you do at Bioton?
My daily tasks include taking care of the infrastructure and maintaining it, streamlining the functioning of the company’s processes as well as providing prompt assistance to Bioton’s employees and colleagues.
3. How did the path to your current position look like?
The job at Bioton was recommended to me by a friend who was then working in Bioton’s IT team. As a less experienced IT specialist, I initially worked as an IT helpdesk specialist, then as an IT specialist, while today, after numerous courses and trainings and having significantly broadened my knowledge, I am able to deal with the organisation’s IT matters as a Junior IT Administrator.
4. What are you most proud of in your work?
In my daily work, it fills me with pride that together with the entire IT team – despite various infrastructural and technical challenges – we provide access to business systems for all Bioton employees and colleagues. We strive to come up with the best and most modern solutions, and always together as a team.
5. What inspires you at work?
Numerous implementation projects, access to the latest technologies, and working with low-code platforms on the administrative side, which constantly improve my professional skills. However, the biggest inspiration to me have always been my colleagues.
6. What advice would you give to those who are just starting their career path?
Above all, to believe in yourself and to act with integrity on a daily basis. In return, you gain recognition and are appreciated by others, which allows you to move up the career ladder.
